Australia’s first

Stop chasing housemates.
Split your broadband in the portal.

HIT Pacific is the first Australian ISP to let a share house split their broadband bill directly — each housemate pays their own share, right to us. No bank transfers. No awkward follow-ups.

NOTE: We're still building this and expect to have portal functions ready by July 1, 2026.

The numbers

Share house plan: 500/50 Mbps, unlimited data, billed fortnightly at $45. Per person:

Housemates Each pays / fortnight Monthly equivalent / person
2$22.50~$48.75
3$15.00~$32.50
4$11.25~$24.38
5$9.00~$19.50
Less than $9 a fortnight for unlimited 500 Mbps internet in a 5-bedder. Fortnightly billing on a 26-fortnight calendar means you get 26 billing cycles a year, not 24. The maths works in everyone’s favour.

How it works

Four steps, no spreadsheets.

1

Account holder signs up

One person takes the service and uploads the lease. We read the DocuSign PDF and pre-populate your housemate list. No typing required.

2

Housemates get an invite

Each housemate receives an invite with their share pre-stated. They create a HIT Pacific account and set up their own payment method.

3

Everyone pays their share

Fortnightly, we pull each person’s share directly via PayTo (bank authorisation). The account holder only pays the remainder — zero if everyone paid.

4

Household changes are self-service

Someone moves out? Remove them in the portal. Someone moves in? Add them and the split recalculates. Upload the new lease and we handle the rest.

Why no other ISP does this

Situation Every other ISP HIT Pacific
Collecting housemates’ share Your problem — bank transfer, Venmo, hope Portal handles it, each person pays direct
Someone doesn’t pay You cover the full bill You’re notified, you cover that share — not the whole bill
Housemate moves out You renegotiate with everyone manually Remove them in the portal, split recalculates
You move out Service cancels or you keep paying Transfer ownership to a housemate — service continues uninterrupted
Former housemate needs internet at new place They go to comparison sites, start from scratch They already have an account — one-tap re-sign at new address

Every other ISP uses billing infrastructure that can’t support this. HIT Pacific built its billing stack from scratch — this was designed in from day one.
